Kalapara (Bengali: কলাপাড়া , also known as Khepupara) is an Upazila of Patuakhali District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh. Kala Para (Town) consists of 9 wards and 24 mahallas. The city area of 19.49 square kilometers.
It has a population of 16,330, 55.18% men, 44.82% women. The population density of 838 inhabitants per km ². The literacy rate among the town people is 39.37%. The city has a dakbungalow.
