Kurigram (কুড়িগ্রাম জেলা) is a district in northern Bangladesh. It is in the Rangpur Division.
Kurigram district is located in northern Bangladesh over the border in India. The area of this district is 2,296.10 km ² and a population of 1,782,277. This district is surrounded by Cooch Behar district in northern India, Gaibandha district in southern Bangladesh, the state of Assam in India in the east and Lalmonirhat and Rangpur districts of Bangladesh in the west.
In the old days Kurigram is a country of agriculture. Various agricultural products are the main driving force of the economy of this district, such as rice, jute, wheat, snuff, potatoes, etc.
