Barguna is a district in southwestern Bangladesh. It is part of Barguna Division. The Barisal district has a total area of 1,831.31 km square. Its northern border Jhalkathi districts, Barisal, Patuakhali and Pirojpur. In the east it borders Patuakhali district. On the south side borders the district of Patuakhali Barguna, and the Bay of Bengal. On the western side, bordering Pirojpur and Bagerhat districts. The main rivers of the district of Barguna Payra Bishkhali river Baleshwar river and the river.
