Netrakona(নেত্রকোনা) is a district in central Bangladesh. It is a part of the Division of Dhaka.
Netrakona district is located in the northern part of Bangladesh. Near the border of the Himalayas. Historically Netrakona is the main center of Mymensingh Githika the opinion of Mahua Malua who lived and created his performance. Sadar Upazila Netrokona has an area of 340.35 km square and is surrounded by Durgapur upazilas Kalmakanda and on the north side, and Gauripur Kendua upazilas on the south side, and Barhatta Atpara upazilas on the east side, Purbadhala upazila on the west. There are four rivers in Netrokona. Are Kangsha, Dhala, Magra, and Teorkhali.
The economy is basically agricultural Netrakona. Susang Durgapur, one of the Upazila Netrokona, is one of the main sources of China, clay used for ceramics. The huge masses of water offers a wide variety of more fish.The collection of fish and rivers, the total number is 88 river in Netrakona. Bara Bazaar is the main commercial Netrakona.about
