Monohorgonj Upazila is an Upazila of Comilla District in the Division of Chittagong, Bangladesh. As history says, was a famous place Monohorgonj company. Some believe there was a famous pottre called Monohor and businessmen in this area named after him. Another believes that this area was a place famous for jute business and transformed this area into a gonj. Anyway, upazila Monohorgonj 11 unions founded in August 26, 2004.
