Brahmanbaria (ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়া) is a district in eastern and central Bangladesh. It is part of the Chittagong Division. It was part of greater Comilla District until 1984. By 1830, the Sarail Pargana was a part of Mymensingh district. The district has 4 municipalities, 39 districts, 97 upazilas mahallas 8, 98 Union Parishads, mouzas 1052 and 1329 villages.

Brahmanbaria District with an area of 1,927.11 km ², is limited by Kishoreganj and Habiganj district in the north, Comilla district in the south, Hobiganj district and Tripura state of India in the east and the river Meghna, Kishoreganj, Narsingdi and Narayanganj districts to the west. The neighborhood is a lowlying land with small hills and mounds of red earth. The annual average temperature above 34.3 ° C and minimum 12.7 ° C, the total annual rainfall is 2551 mm.
