Munshiganj (মুন্সীগঞ্জ), also known traditionally as Bikrampur is a district in central Bangladesh. It is part of the division of Dhaka and Dhaka district boundaries.
The total area is 235.974 hectares of which 138.472 hectares are arable and fallow hectares in 5609. No forests. 40.277 hectares are irrigated while 26,242 hectares of land under the river. It has 14 155 km of cross rivers.
Munshiganj is one of the largest potato producers in Bangladesh. It produces significant part of jute, rice, wheat and other vegetables. It also produces sugar cane and bananas.
The district consists of Munshiganj 3254 mosques, 348 churches, nine Buddhist temples and a church here.about
