Betagi (Bengali: বেতাগী) is an Upazila of Barguna District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh. Betagi (city) The city is now a municipality with an area of 7.71 km ² and its population 8220, 51.62% male and 48.38% female. It has 9 rooms and 9 mahallas. Literacy rate among the town people is 59.2%.
There are 3 cyclone centers, 5 and dakbungalow food stores. Historical events during the War of Liberation Army fired Badlikhali Pak Bazaar. In a meeting with the freedom fighters of a Pak soldier was killed. Furthermore, the launch of a call MV Munir, who hurt Pak army.
