Domar (Bengali: ডোমার) is an Upazila of Nilphamari District in the Division of Rangpur, Bangladesh. Domar Upazila (Nilphamari district) with an area of 250.84 km ², is bounded by West Bengal in India in the north, Sadar Upazila Nilphamari in the south, and dimla jaldhaka upazilas in this upazila, debiganj in the west.
The main rivers are Jamuneshwari, Buri Tista and Chiki. Domar (city) The city is now a municipality with an area of 21.48 km ² and population of 17,162, men 51.39%, 48.61% women. It has 9 rooms and mahallas 12. Literacy rate of the common people is 49.3%. From the 1991 census, Bangladesh, Domar has a population of 175,507. Males constitute are 51.16% of the population, and women 48.84%. Eighteen of the population of the upazila is 87,290. Domar has an average of 39% (7 years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.
