Pirojpur Sadar (Bengali: পিরোজপুর সদর) is an Upazila of Pirojpur District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh. Pirojpur (city) is located on the banks of Damodor, has 9 rooms and mahallahs 30. The city area is 15.12 km ². It has a population of 51,219, 51.66% male, 48.34% female. The population density is 3,387 inhabitants per square kilometer. Literacy rate among the town people is 66.1%.
