Palashbari (পলাশবাড়ী) is an Upazila of Gaibandha district in the department of Rajshahi, Bangladesh.It has 41.586 units house hold and total area 190.67 km ². Since 1991 Bangladesh census Palashbari has a population of 210,806. Males constitute are 50.54% of the population, and females 49.46%. Eighteen of the population of 102,892 Upazila. Palashbari has an average of 26.4% and the national average of 32.4% literate.Palashbari has 9 Unions and community halls, 161 Mauzas or Mahalla and Village 160.
