Nakla (নকলা) is an Upazila Sherpur district in Dhaka Division, with 33,482 units Bangladesh.It household and total area 174.8 km ². The Nakla is free from the Pakistani army, December 9, 1971. Pakistan Army surrendered in the town called Kandy Palash. This is a milestone for Nakla. Every day, many tourists who are interested in the liberation war came to see the place. Today there is a market called Bazar.As Vote 1991 in Bangladesh census, Nakla has a population of 162,952. Males constitute are 51.03% of the population, and females 48.97%. Eighteen of the population of the upazila is 81,345. Nakla has an average rate of 67.4% and the national average of 70.4% literate.
