Chilmari (চিলমারী) is an Upazila of Kurigram district in Rajshahi Division, has 20,129 units Bangladesh.It house hold and total area 224.97 km ². Located in the northern part of Bangladesh, is located on the border between India and Bangladesh. Chilmari Upazila is bisected by the mighty Brahmaputra in Bangladesh River.As the 1991 census, Chilmari has a population of 100,516. Males constitute are 49.98% of the population, and females 50.02%. Eighteen of the population of the upazila is 47,851. Chilmari has an average of 23.7% and the national average of 32.4% literate.
