Sreepur (শ্রীপুর) is an Upazila of Gazipur District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh Bangladesh.As the 1991 census, Sreepur has a population of 320,530. Males constitute are 51.13% of the population, and women 48.87%. Eighteen of the population of 166,988 Upazila. Sreepur has an average of 30.3% and the national average of 32.4% literate.
The historical events is a vision that bears the name of Raja Sreepur Sreepal. It is said that local Bhuiyans Karnapur fought for the progress of Mughal resisted. Possibly Karnapur adjacent tank strength and witness of the incident.
