Dohar (দোহার) is an Upazila of Dhaka District Dhaka Division, Bangladesh. The Upazilla is located in the southern part of Dhaka District. The mighty river Padma borders the southern part of the upazilla.
Located at23 ° 35'45 Dohar "N 90 ° 07'20" E / 23.5958 ° N 90.1222 ° E / 23.5958, 90.1222. It has 31645 units of house hold and total area 161.49 km ². One of the major rivers of Bangladesh, Padma is located in the south and southwest of Dohar. This Upazila is limited by Sri Nagar Nawabganj and a small part that is a Sirajdikhan Upazila of the district formerly known as Munshiganj Bikrampur.
The story is old Dohar in the British period. The British government was forced to grow zero, but the farmers refused and went to the strike of Mahatma Gandhi Dohar came.Welcome
