Mirzapur (মির্জাপুর) is an Upazila of Tangail district in Dhaka Division, has 61.479 units Bangladesh.It house hold and total area 373.89 km ². Since 1991 Bangladesh census Mirzapur has a population of 337,496. Males constitute are 50.31% of the population, and females 49.69%. Eighteen of the population of 178,312 Upazila. Mirzapur has an average of 32.9% and the national average of 32.4% literate.Mirzapur has 13 unions and community halls, 207 and 219 Mauzas or Mahalla villages.Mirzapur is directly linked to the highway from Dhaka to Tangail. There is also a double railway line width of Dhaka to Khulna and Rajshahi.
