Madhupur (মধুপুর) is an Upazila of Tangail district in Dhaka Division, has 74.984 units Bangladesh.It house hold and total area 500.67 km ². It has a large forest area with the name Madhupurer Gor. "Madhupur is famous throughout the country to delicious pineapples. Madhupur is limited by Jamalpur Sadar Upazila on the north and Gopalpur upazilas Ghatail in the south, and Muktagachha Fulbaria upazilas on the east . Sarishabari and Gopalpur upazilas on the west. main rivers are Jhinai, Bangshi, bathing and Atrai.As the 1991 census in Bangladesh, Madhupur has a population of 375,295. the males constitute are 51.13% of the population, and women 48, 87%. population of eighteen This Upazila of 192,109. Madhupur has an average of 25.3% and the national average of 32.4% literate.
