Agailjhara (Bengali: আগৈলঝারা) is an Upazila of Barisal District in the Division of Barisal, Bangladesh. Agailjhara (city) has 3 mouzas. The city area is 6.4 km ². The city has a population of 8185, 52.57% male, 47.43% female. Literacy rate among the town people is 48.7%. The city has a dukbangalow.
Event freedom fighter Bashk Alauddin was killed while resisting Pak army near Canal Shoudh. During the Liberation War, the army killed 8 people including Laskan Pak Das, owner of Das Circus Kodaldhoa Laskan of people.
