Shibganj Upazila with an area of 314 square kilometers, is bounded by gobindaganj upazila on the north, Bogra Sadar, and kahaloo dupchanchia upazilas on the south and sonatola gabtali upazilas on the east, and Kalai khetlal upazilas on the west. The main rivers are karatoya, Nagar, and Gajaria Gangni, depression: 44, the best known of which Shabdal Dighi, Dighar Beel, Beel Vatimarcha.
Main occupations Agriculture 46.62%, 25.59% agricultural laborer, wage laborer 2.26%, 11.78% trade, service 2.86%, transport 2.79%, other 8.1%.
