Sarishabari (সরিষাবাড়ী) is an Upazila of Jamalpur district in Dhaka Division, Bangladesh Bangladesh.As the 1991 census, Sarishabari has a population of 289,106. Males constitute 51.66% of the population, and females 48.34%. Eighteen of the population of 148,197 Upazila. Sarishabari has an average of 24.4% and the national average of 32.4% literate.There is a fertilizer factory called Jamuna Fertilizer urea Co. Ltd., the largest fertilizer plant in the country. Occurs granular urea fertilizer. And here are some jute mills. Alhaz Jute Mills Ltd., jute mills and jute mill AR are very popular.
