Gauripur (গৌরীপুর) is an Upazila of Mymensingh District in the Division of Dhaka, has 48.378 Bangladesh.It household units and total area 274.07 km ². As of 1991 [update] Bangladesh census Gauripur has a population of 247,945. Males constitute are 50.71% of the population, and females 49.29%. Eighteen of the population of 125,167 Upazila. Gauripur has an average of 26.4% and the national average of 32.4% literate.Gauripur has 13 unions and community halls, 277 Mauzas or Mahalla and Village 278.
