Bajitpur (বাজিতপুর) is one of the Upazila Kishoreganj District of the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh Bangladesh.As the 1991 census, Bajitpur has a population of 197,081. Males constitute are 50.49% of the population, and females 49.51%. Eighteen of the population of the upazila is 91,866. Bajitpur has an average of 22.1% and the national average of 32.4% literate.Bajitpur thana was established in 1835 and became a municipal borough in 1869. Bajitpur became an upazila in 1983.Bajitpur The city is now a municipality with an area of 9.84 km2 and its population 26,609, 50.76% male, 49.24% of women, the population density of 2,704 inhabitants per km2. It has 9 rooms and mahallas 28.
